The Summer Training and Evangelism Program (STEP) is a two-week whirlwind of in-depth training, engaging evangelism, and Jewish cultural excursions. You may also come for one of the weeks if your schedule does not permit two. Why not use a few days of your vacation to learn about the Jewish people, experience the culture and share the message of salvation? Come work with experienced people and learn how to share the Gospel with the Jewish people of New York. Also, take what you have learned to share with your Jewish friends, in-laws, and co-workers in your own towns and cities. It's a wonderful opportunity to bring your home group or Sunday school class for a ministry adventure!

HEBREW STEP is an amazing week-long cultural and ministry experience unlike any other. Come for a dedicated outreach to Jewish Israelis in New York City. Good knowledge of Hebrew is necessary to be considered for this trip.

A typical STEP day:

• 7 am - Wake up
• 9 am - Worship/Devotional
• 10 am - Class - The Jewish Roots of Christian Faith
• 1 pm - Lunch at Katz's Deli
• 3 pm - Distribute tracts around Brighton Beach & Coney Island
• 6 pm - Dinner at Nathan's on Coney Island
• 9 pm - End the day with a time of prayer for the people we talked with
• Tomorrow we go on a prayer walk in the Orthodox area

STEP Information

Dates: (you can apply for one or more weeks)

• Week 1: July 10-18, 2010
• Week 2: July 18-25, 2010
• Week 3: Hebrew STEP. July 26 - August 2, 2010

Cost: (Includes food, lodging, travel within NYC, admin. costs, evangelistic materials and any entrance fees) These costs are per week, so if you want to join us for 2 weeks, simply double the numbers below.

• $800 - Week 1 Double Occupancy (Bunk Beds) / $775 Week 2 Double Occupancy (Bunk Beds)
• $1,050 - Single Occupancy (Twin Bed)
• $1,400 - Double Bed/one person -- (for a married couple, $820 per person)
• $300 - Everything except lodging

Lodging will be in Midtown Manhattan, close to our Manhattan center.  The rooms are clean and each bed has an LCD TV. Bathrooms are private!
